Matt Hathaway is the Clinical Director of both the Bartlesville and Pawhuska clinics. He brings over 15 years of physical therapy experience to the Bartlesville community. He is a graduate from the University of Oklahoma with a Masters of Physical Therapy degree.
Matt has certifications in Astym, Trigger Point Dry Needling, Vestibular Rehabilitation, and Manual Therapy. His background includes working in the outpatient setting for most of his career, but he has also worked at St. John’s Hospital in Tulsa in post-surgery and stoke units, nursing homes, the Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Tulsa, and has provided home health services. His diverse background helps him offer the Bartlesville community specialized care for a variety of injuries and conditions.
Matt moved to Bartlesville and opened Excel Therapy in 2006. Upon arriving to Bartlesville, he immediately became involved in the community and provides sports therapy to Bartlesville High and Oklahoma Wesleyan University athletes, Doenges Indians baseball players, the Phillips 66 Gymnastics Club Inc., as well as Bartlesville Civic Ballet dancers and other local organizations. He opened the Pawhuska clinic in 2015, and is actively involved in their community as well.
When he is not working, Matt enjoys spending time with his wife, Stephanie, and his two children, Evan and Elizabeth. He enjoys fishing and cheering on his favorite local sports teams.
